Winston-Salem, NC - The Winston-Salem State University Lady Rams softball team saw their opportunity to cap off a two-game sweep of the visiting Lady Tigers from Saint Paul's College put on hold due to weather on Friday afternoon as rain foced the game's postponement in the top of the second inning with WSSU ahead 4-2.

The Lady Rams, who earned a 12-4 win over the Lady Tigers in game one, were looking to earn another victory when rain, sleet and hail forced the game's postponement. Heather Davis was on the mound for the Lady Rams as she looked for her first win of 2005.

No make-up date for the game has been announced as of press time. The two teams will re-schedule the contest for later in the season with a game date and game time to be announced.
