Busy Softball Weekend For WSSU; All Four Games To Be Played At Southpark Field

WSSU Plays Host To Claflin On Friday, North Carolina Central On Saturday

Winston-Salem, NC - Winston-Salem State University head women's softball coach, LaTaya Hilliard-Gray announced on Friday morning that all four softball contests to be played this weekend will be held at Southpark Field due to more favorable field conditions.

The Lady Rams, who are currently sporting an 11-17 overall record, will take to the diamond starting at 3:00 PM on Friday afternoon as they play host to Claflin College in the first of a pair of non-conference softball contests.

WSSU will return to the diamond at Southpark Field on Saturday afternoon at 12:00 PM as they welcome CIAA rival North Carolina Central University to town for a pair of important conference softball contests.
