Lady Rams Shut Out Saint Augustine's for 9-0 Victory

WINSTON-SALEM, NC – The Winston-Salem State Lady Rams (8-4, 8-1 CIAA) rolled to their third straight shutout win when the team took a 9-0 victory over the Saint Augustine's Lady Falcons (3-4, 3-4 CIAA), Wednesday afternoon. The Lady Rams rolled in the win, allowing just four total set points in the dominating victory.

The Lady Rams kicked things off, allowing just one point in doubles play with seniors Kayla Carter and Sloane Holmes taking an 8-1 win while seniors Bianka Locklear and Kalin Jarvis added an 8-0 win. The team won the third set by default.

The momentum carried over into singles play when Jarvis and junior Dominique Lindsey both took 6-0, 6-0 wins. Carter and Locklear both took 6-1, 6-0 wins while Holmes sealed the win with a 6-1, 6-1 win.
