March 11, 2017 Rams Take 9-0 Loss to Defending Champion Chowan at CIAA Round-Up SALISBURY, NC – The Winston-Salem State Rams (1-4, 0-2 CIAA) gave a strong effort, but the team came up short in a tough 9-0 loss to the Chowan Hawks (7-6, 3-0 CIAA), Saturday afternoon in the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Tennis Round-Up. The Rams could not match the firepower of the defending conference champions in the hard-fought loss.
March 11, 2017 Rams Open CIAA Round-Up with 9-0 Loss to Virginia State SALISBURY, NC – The Winston-Salem State Rams (1-3, 0-1 CIAA) struggled in their first Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) match of the season when the team took a 9-0 loss to the Virginia State Trojans (2-1, 1-0 CIAA), Saturday morning in the 2017 CIAA Round-Up. Playing their second straight match without senior Gabrielle Lindsay, the Rams found points hard to come by in the tough loss.
March 10, 2017 Short-Handed Rams Take 9-0 Loss to Converse WINSTON-SALEM, NC – The Winston-Salem State Rams (1-2) gave some solid efforts, but the team was outgunned when the Rams took a 9-0 loss to the Converse College Valkyries (4-8), Friday afternoon. Playing in just their second home match of the season, the Rams gave a solid effort, but the team could not quite get past the Valkyries.
March 3, 2017 Rams Open Home Court with 6-3 Win Over Averett WINSTON-SALEM, NC – The Winston-Salem State Rams (1-1) christened home court in a big way, Friday afternoon when the team took a 6-3 win over the Averett Cougars (2-3). The Rams controlled the match from beginning to end, taking a pair of wins in doubles play along with four singles wins.
February 12, 2017 Rams Open Season with a 9-0 Loss at Lenoir-Rhyne HICKORY, NC – The Winston-Salem State Rams (0-1) opened the tennis season, Sunday when the team took a 9-0 loss to the Lenoir-Rhyne Bears (4-2). Though the Rams took the loss in the season opener, the team had some promising showings early.
July 19, 2016 Winston-Salem State Announces Inaugural Winston-Salem Football Classic The Winston-Salem State University football team has an exciting season coming to the city of Winston-Salem with five home games and the inauguration of the Winston-Salem Football Classic. The three-day community-centered event is one of the strongest community partnerships in WSSU athletic history with the Rams joining strengths with the City of Winston-Salem and Winston-Salem Forsyth County School System.

Cheerleading Camp

WSSU Head Cheerleading Coach, Eboni Graham, welcomes all aspiring cheerleaders 4-17 years of age to the campus of Winston-Salem State University for the WSSU Cheer Explosion Camp June 20-24 at the Donald J. Reaves Center. The five-day camp will take place from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m., featuring members of the Powerhouse of Red and White and 2nd year WSSU alum, Coach Graham.

WSSU 7-ON-7 Football Camp

WSSU Head Football Coach, Kienus Boulware, welcomes all High School Football teams to Winston-Salem State University for the WSSU 7-on-7 Football Camp on June 21st. All camps are non-contact. Registration will begin at 9:00 AM in the Field House. Teams will be guaranteed 4 games, lunch, a camp t-shirt. Space is limited due to fields, please register and reserve your teams space now. WSSU Prospect Football Camp

WSSU Head Football Coach, Kienus Boulware, welcomes all prospects in grades 9-12 (as of Fall 2017) to Winston-Salem State University for the WSSU Prospect Camp on July 12th . High School graduates may not participate. All camps are non-contact. Campers will benefit from both individual and team instruction. Fundamental skills will be taught and there will also be some individual and team competition.

Men's Basketball Camp

The WSSU Men's Basketball Program will hold an Individual Camp, June 19th through June 21st. Second grade through Fifth grade will attend from
9am to 12pm (Morning session). Sixth grade through Eighth grade will attend from 1pm to 4pm (Afternoon session).

The cost of the camp is Early Bird Price $85.00  Before June 1st 2017 and After June 1st 2017 Price will be $100.00.
