April 8, 2015 Lindsay Named CIAA Tennis Player of the Week HAMPTON, VA – The Winston-Salem State Lady Rams tennis program got a big honor, Wednesday morning when sophomore Gabrielle Lindsay was named the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Player of the Week. She was the first WSSU player to earn a weekly honor this season.
April 3, 2015 Lady Rams Edged in 5-4 Loss to Salem College WINSTON-SALEM, NC – The Winston-Salem State Lady Rams (5-6) gave it their all, but the team came up just short in a 5-4 loss at local rival Salem College (2-5), Friday afternoon. In a match between a pair of evenly matched and determined opponents every point counted in the tough loss.
March 31, 2015 Lady Rams Roll in 8-1 Win Over Livingstone WINSTON-SALEM, NC – The Winston-Salem State Lady Rams (5-5, 5-5 CIAA) took a dominating 8-1 win over the Livingstone Blue Bears (2-11, 2-10 CIAA), Tuesday afternoon. The Lady Rams won the battle of two weary teams as the Lady Rams played their second match in three days while Livingstone was playing in its third match in three days.
March 29, 2015 Lady Rams Struggle in 6-3 Loss to Shaw WINSTON-SALEM, NC – The Winston-Salem State Lady Rams (4-5, 4-5 CIAA) could find no answers or the Shaw Lady Bears (12-2, 10-1 CIAA) when the team took a 6-3 loss, Sunday afternoon. The loss came in spite of a courageous effort by the Lady Rams, but the team was overmatched against the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Southern Division leading Lady Bears.
March 26, 2015 Lady Rams Top Fayetteville State, 8-2, for Third Straight Win WINSTON-SALEM, NC – The Winston-Salem State Lady Rams (4-4, 4-4 CIAA) rolled to their third straight win when the team took an impressive 8-1 win over the Fayetteville State Lady Broncos (1-5, 1-5 CIAA), Thursday afternoon. The win was the third straight win for the Lady Rams and improved the team to 2-2 in the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Southern Division.
March 22, 2015 Lady Rams Roll in 8-1 Win at Virginia Union RICHMOND, VA – The Winston-Salem State Lady Rams (2-4, 2-4 CIAA) picked up an impressive win Sunday when the team took an 8-1 win at Virginia Union. The Lady Rams had one of their best efforts of the season when they took the dominating road victory.
