Final Stats

GREENSBORO, NC -- UNC Greensboro won five singles matches in straight-set sweeps on its way to a 7-0 win over Winston-Salem State in women's tennis action Saturday afternoon as the Lady Rams dropped to 0-1 on the season while UNCG improved to 2-0.

Arielle VonStrolley, Erica Zabkar, Whitney Miles, Courtney Akel and Sarah Templeton all won by perfect 6-0, 6-0 scores as the Spartans moved to 2-0 on the spring season.

Valerie Behr and Jessica Eblen also cruised to an 8-0 pro-set victory to help the Spartans claim the doubles point.

WSSU has seven days off before they travel to Conway, SC for a February 10 match versus Coastal Carolina University, which begins at 3:30 pm.
