Final Stats

WINSTON-SALEM, NC - The Winston-Salem State University women's tennis team fell to 0-4 on the season on Sunday afternoon as the visiting Mountaineers of Appalachian State University cruised past the Lady Rams 7-0 in non-conference tennis action on Sunday afternoon.

The Lady Rams were swept in every match as all but three WSSU players were held without a single game victory in the contest.  Amanda Walker, Carmen Davis, and Ashley Hopper each recorded one game victory in their matches as they tallied the only WSSU points of the afternoon.

The loss drops the Lady Rams to 0-4 on the season while Appalachian State improves to 2-1 with the win.

WSSU returns to action on Saturday, February 17, 2007 at 2:30 pm as they travel to Elon, NC to face the Phoenix of Elon University.
