Final Stats

WINSTON-SALEM, NC - The Winston-Salem State University women's tennis team fell in defeat to the Lady Trojans of Virginia State University on Saturday afternoon in CIAA women's tennis action from Petersburg, VA by the score of 4-3 as the two teams completed a league tennis twin-bill.

The Lady Rams earned three points in the contest as WSSU recorded points at the second doubles and third and fourth singles flights.

With the loss, the Lady Rams fall to 1-4 overall (1-2 CIAA).  WSSU returns to action on Tuesday, March 14, 2006 at 2:00 pm as they take on Johnson C. Smith University at the WSSU Tennis Complex.
