Final Stats

Lawrenceville, VA - The Winston-Salem State University Lady Rams tennis team improved to 3-5 overall (2-4 CIAA) following a 4-3 win over the Lady Tigers of Saint Paul's College on Saturday afternoon in Lawrenceville, VA.

WSSU jumped out to an early lead as the Lady Rams earned victories at the first, second and third singles slots before surrendering a pair of forfeits to Saint Paul's.

WSSU and SPC split the doubles matches with each team earning a point as the Lady Rams locked up the 4-3 win to earn their third victory of the season and improve to 2-4 in the CIAA in the process.

The Lady Rams will return to action on Monday, March 20, 2006 as they face Savannah State University at the WSSU Tennis Complex at 12:00 PM.
