Salisbury, NC - The Winston-Salem State University Lady Rams tennis team took to the road on Saturday afternoon as they traveled to nearby Salisbury, NC to face the Lady Blue Bears of Livingstone College in a CIAA tennis match which WSSU would ultimately win by the score of 6-3.
The Lady Rams would record singles points at the third, fourth, fifth and sixth singles flights as WSSU easily jumped out to an early lead.
WSSU would tally doubles victories at second and third doubles as well as the Lady Rams moved their overall record to 4-2, and 3-1 in the CIAA.
The two teams return to action later in the afternoon as they will complete the second match of the CIAA tennis doubleheader.
