CHARLOTTE, NC - March 31, 2006 - The Golden Bulls of Johnson C. Smith University (9-10, 8-2, 4-2) solidified their hold on second place in the CIAA Western Division with an 8-1 win over Winston-Salem State in Charlotte, NC on Thursday afternoon in Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association tennis league women's tennis action.
Golden Bull Jennifer Lee won the feature match over Amanda Walker 6-2, 6-1 at number one singles. Ashley Hooper of Winston Salem State University was the sole winner for the Rams beating April Lewis 6-2, 7-5.
The Lady Rams drop to 6-6 overall and 4-5 in the conference with the loss.
