Lawrenceville, VA - The Winston-Salem State University Lady Rams tennis team improved to 7-5 on the season on Saturday afternoon as they handed the St. Paul's College Lady Tigers a 6-0 loss in CIAA league tennis action in Lawrenceville, VA.
With the win, the Lady Rams have won their sixth consecutive match and move to two matches over .500.
The Lady Rams won every event with relative ease and after sweeping through the singles matches, only played one doubles match as they rendered the additional three matches a moot point by earning six straight points.
The Lady Rams return to action tomorrow afternoon at 12:00 pm when they play host to the Lady Broncos of Fayetteville State University at the WSSU Tennis Complex. The two teams will play back to back matches with the second match being played 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first match.
