Winston-Salem, NC - The 2004 Tennis season will mark the second year of competition that the WSSU Men's and Women's tennis teams will call the WSSU Tennis Complex home.

The WSSU Tennis complex, a six-court, hard-court, outdoor facility, equipped with lights for night play, officially opened on January 27th, 2003 with a University ribbon-cutting ceremony. WSSU Chancellor, Dr. Harold L. Martin, Sr. was the first person to hit a serve on the new $400,000 complex that the Rams and Lady Rams call home.

The tennis facility is not limited to only varsity athletic competition as it plays host to intramurals, community recreation, and general student recreation as well.
