Inclement weather forces cancellation of WSSU/UNC-Wilmington match

March 16, 2007

WILMINGTON, NC - Rainy weather proved to be too much for both teams as the Winston-Salem State Lady Rams' (2-10) match with the UNC-Wilmington Seahawks was canceled Friday. The two teams were scheduled for a 2:30 p.m. match, but the rainy weather forced a cancellation of the match.

 

The cancellation will give the Lady Rams a bit of a break since Friday's match would have been the team's eighth straight road match.

 

The Lady Rams are scheduled to return to action on Sunday in a home match against UNC-Asheville.
