WINSTON-SALEM, NC - Rain and sleet forced the postponement of Monday's women's tennis match between the Lady Rams of Winston-Salem State University and the Lady Tigers of Savannah State University on Monday afternoon at the WSSU Tennis Complex.

The two teams started the match promptly at 12:00 pm and were midway through the second-set action in five singles matches when rain, which quickly become sleet, forced the two teams to retire to shelter.

After consulting local radar, officials from both tennis programs decided to postpone the match to a future, as-yet-to-be-determined date and time.

The WSSU women's tennis team will return to action on Thursday afternoon at the WSSU Tennis Complex in Winston-Salem, NC as they play host to the Lady Falcons of Saint Augustine's College at 2:00 pm.
