Winston-Salem, NC - Senior women's tennis player Amber Stewart (Junior/Charlottesville, VA) was named the Winston-Salem State University Women's Tennis MVP on Wednesday April 28th, 2004 at the 2004 WSSU Athletic Awards Banquet that was held at the McNeil Ballroom of the Anderson Center.

Stewart, a two-year team captain helped to lead the Lady Rams to a sixth place finish in the CIAA this past season as she proved to be a dominant force in the 2004 CIAA Tennis Championships in Charlotte, NC.

For her efforts, she was named the WSSU Women's Tennis MVP and was recognized at WSSU's Annual Athletic Awards Banquet.
