McNeil Places Fiftth in Women's Triple Jump at 2014 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field National Championships

McNeil Podium WINSTON-SALEM, NC – Winston-Salem State junior jumper Tajanel McNeil placed fifth in the women's triple jump at the 2014 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field National Championships at the JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem, N.C. McNeil bounced back from some struggles in the long jump for an impressive effort in the women's triple jump.

McNeil posted a best leap of 41'0.5" (12.51m) in the preliminary round of the event. The leap was her best of the day as she recorded a 40'1.5" (12.21m) leap in her sixth and final jump of the day.

With the effort, McNeil and the Lady Rams close out the indoor track & field season and will turn their attentions to the outdoor track & field season.
