May 4, 2016 Rams Begin Final Push For Nationals with Strong Efforts at Liberty Twilight Qualifier LYNCHBURG, VA – The Winston-Salem State Rams track & field teams are making a final push towards the 2016 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field National Championship Meet when the team had some strong performances at the Liberty Twilight Qualifier. The Rams saw quite a few provisional qualifying results in their efforts to qualify for the championship meet.
April 28, 2016 Rams Open 2016 Penn Relays With Strong Efforts PHILADELPHIA, PA – The Winston-Salem State Rams returned to The Penn Relays and the team did not disappoint with some strong performances against some of the top competition in the nation. The Rams’ relay team as well as several individual performers brought some great performances at the prestigious meet.
April 23, 2016 Rams Place Third at 2016 CIAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships CHARLOTTE, NC – The Winston-Salem State Rams finished third at the 2016 Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Outdoor Track & Field Championships, Saturday. The Rams took third place with 138.50 points behind the top-ranked Saint Augustine’s Falcons (156) and the third-ranked host Johnson C. Smith Lady Golden Bulls (165).
April 22, 2016 Rams Take Opening Day Lead at 2016 CIAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships CHARLOTTE, NC – The Winston-Salem State Rams women’s outdoor track & field got a strong start at the 2016 Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Outdoor Track & Field Championship meet. The Rams totaled 43 points on the day behind some great performances in field events. Almost as importantly, the Rams sent several qualifiers into tomorrow’s finals where the conference championship will be determined.
April 9, 2016 Rams Post Impressive Performances at JCSU Invitational CHARLOTTE, NC - The Winston-Salem State University Rams women’s track & field team gave some great performances at the 2016 Johnson C. Smith Invitational Track & Field Meet, Saturday. The Rams gave some great efforts at the meet, including a few NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field provisional qualifying marks.
April 7, 2016 Turner Named CIAA Outdoor Women's Outdoor Track & Field Coach of the Week CHARLOTTE, NC – The Winston-Salem State Rams women’s outdoor track & field team had a great week at the Terrier Relays hosted by Wofford College. For the team’s effort, Winston-Salem State women’s track & field head coach Inez Turner was named the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Coach of the Week.
