Personal: The 2008-09 season marks the second season as a member of the Lady Rams track and field team for Kayla Long...Will be one of many talented WSSU sprinters...A native of Yadkinville, NC, she is a 2006 graduate of Forbush High School where she earned numerous honors both athletic and academic...She earned all-conference honors in track & field both as a junior and as a senior...Holds her high school record in 200m, 4x100m relay, and 4x200m relay...Also earned four varsity letters as a cheerleader...She was named Most Valuable Cheerleader as a senior...Was named to the Dean's List two semesters in a row in high school...A Biology major...The daughter of Tina Long...Born on September 11, 1988.
