SHAMROCK INVITATIONAL SCHEDULE

CONWAY, SC -  The Winston-Salem State track & field teams will be competing with the best when the team takes part in the Shamrock Invitational, the team's second outdoor track meet of the season. The Rams and Lady Rams will be competing with some of the best teams in the country when they take the field, Friday and Saturday.

The meet will include not only teams from host Coastal Carolina, but also teams from Notre Dame, Kentucky, Syracuse, Minnesota, Appalachian State, and East Carolina among others. Totaled the Rams and Lady Rams will face teams from some of the biggest conferences in the country including the Southeastern Conference, the Big East, the Big Ten, the Southern Conference, the Colonial Athletic Association, and the Big South.

Looking to have an impact at the meet will be both of the Winston-Salem State relay teams that have been strong in the indoor season and will look to have even better performances in the outdoor season.

Both WSSU track & field teams will hit the road Friday morning with running events for the meet scheduled to start in the afternoon. The meet will continue all day on Saturday at the Coastal Carolina University Track & Field Facility.
