TIGERVILLE, SC – The Winston-Salem State Lady Rams (11-7) saw their three-match winning streak snapped Saturday morning when the team took a tough three-set loss to the Barton Bulldogs (8-8). The Lady Rams were overpowered in the match as the team fell, 24-26, 8-25, and 21-25.
The Lady Rams couldn't seem to get their offense going in the match as the team managed just 19 kills for the match with 15 attack errors. For the match, the Lady Rams totaled a .044 attack percentage. The team also managed just five service aces in the match as well. Four Lady Rams combined to lead the way with all four players notching three kills each in the match. WSSU senior libero Katelyn Sigala added a solid defensive effort with 10 digs in the match while junior setter Kayla Brass added 11 assists.
