November 11, 2016 Rams Roll to Three-Set Win Over Livingstone in Regular Season Finale WINSTON-SALEM, NC – The Winston-Salem State Rams (18-13, 13-3 CIAA) closed on the regular season in dominating fashion when the team took a three-set win over the Livingstone Blue Bears (8-17, 5-11 CIAA), Friday evening. The Rams made short work of the Blue Bears as the team rolled from beginning to end, 25-12, 25-19, and 25-12.
November 8, 2016 Rams Falter in Three-Set Loss to Catawba WINSTON-SALEM, NC – The Winston-Salem State Rams (17-13) could not overcome some defensive miscues when the team took a three-set loss to the Catawba Indians (16-10), Tuesday. The Rams could not quite find a way to stop the aggressive offensive attack of the Indians, falling 25-19, 25-18, and 25-14.
November 7, 2016 Rams Roll to Claim Three-Set Win at Johnson C. Smith CHARLOTTE, NC – The Winston-Salem State Rams (17-12, 12-3 CIAA) volleyball team got back to their winning ways, Monday evening when the team took a three-set road victory over the Johnson C. Smith Golden Bulls (5-15, 4-11 CIAA). The Rams took the win behind an overpowering offensive effort as the team clicked on all cylinders in the 25-10, 25-9, and 25-13 victory.
November 1, 2016 Lytton Named CIAA Rookie of the Week Once Again CHARLOTTE, NC – For the second week in a row, Winston-Salem State freshman libero Makala Lytton was honored as the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Rookie of the Week. In addition to claiming the honor last week, Lytton brought it home once again for her stellar defensive play on the court.
October 31, 2016 Rams Battle, But Fall Short in Four-Set Loss to Shaw WINSTON-SALEM, NC – The Winston-Salem State Rams (16-12, 11-3 CIAA) gave it all they had, but the team did not quite have enough as they took a four-set loss to the Shaw Lady Bears (17-11, 12-2 CIAA), Monday evening. The Rams showed some fight in all four sets of the match, but the team could quite get the points they needed as the team fell short, 25-22, 21-25, 22-25, and 23-25.
October 28, 2016 Rams Struggle Late in Four-Set Loss to Belmont Abbey WINSTON-SALEM, NC – The Winston-Salem State Rams (16-11) took their first home loss of the season when the team took a four-set loss to the Belmont Abbey Crusaders (15-11), Friday evening. The Rams played well in spots, but faltered late to take their first home loss of the season, 24-26, 25-22, 23-25, and 16-25.

Cheerleading Camp

WSSU Head Cheerleading Coach, Eboni Graham, welcomes all aspiring cheerleaders 4-17 years of age to the campus of Winston-Salem State University for the WSSU Cheer Explosion Camp June 20-24 at the Donald J. Reaves Center. The five-day camp will take place from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m., featuring members of the Powerhouse of Red and White and 2nd year WSSU alum, Coach Graham.

WSSU 7-ON-7 Football Camp

WSSU Head Football Coach, Kienus Boulware, welcomes all High School Football teams to Winston-Salem State University for the WSSU 7-on-7 Football Camp on June 21st. All camps are non-contact. Registration will begin at 9:00 AM in the Field House. Teams will be guaranteed 4 games, lunch, a camp t-shirt. Space is limited due to fields, please register and reserve your teams space now. Once registered, please email team rosters to Coach Natrone Means (Meansnj@wssu.edu).

WSSU Prospect Football Camp

WSSU Head Football Coach, Kienus Boulware, welcomes all prospects in grades 9-12 (as of Fall 2017) to Winston-Salem State University for the WSSU Prospect Camp on July 12th . High School graduates may not participate. All camps are non-contact. Campers will benefit from both individual and team instruction. Fundamental skills will be taught and there will also be some individual and team competition.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL CAMP

The WSSU Women's Basketball Program will hold a Team Camp, June 17th, and the cost is $200. The team camp is open to players on JV, Varisity and AAU teams.They will also hold an Elite Camp on June 18, for just $65. The Elite Camp is open to 8th through 12th graders.

Men's Basketball Camp

The WSSU Men's Basketball Program will hold an Individual Camp, June 19th through June 21st. Second grade through fifth grade will attend from 9am to 12pm (Morning session). Sixth grade through eighth grade will attend from 1pm to 4pm (Afternoon session).

The cost of the camp is Early Bird Price $85.00.  Before June 1st, 2017 and after June 1st, 2017 Price will be $100.00.

Men's Basketball ELITE Camp

The WSSU Men's Basketball Program will hold an ELITE Camp on August 1st on the campus of WSSU. A free t-shirt and lunch will be provided, along with a tour of campus, individual skill instruction for post palyers and guards, as well as other  on court demonstration. The cost of the ELITE camp is $50.00, and the date is scheduled for August 1st 2017.
