October 1, 2017 Rams Take a Three-Set Win Over Elizabeth City State for 10th Straight Victory PETERSBURG, VA – The Winston-Salem State Rams (10-3, 8-0 CIAA) stayed strong when the team took a three-set win over the Elizabeth City State Lady Vikings (2-16, 2-8 CIAA), Sunday morning at the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Volleyball Round Up. The Rams claimed their 10th straight victory in dominating fashion as they defeated the Lady Vikings, 25-12, 25-18, and 25-12.
September 30, 2017 Rams Cruise in Three-Set Win Over Bowie State PETERSBURG, VA – The Winston-Salem State Rams (10-3, 7-0 CIAA) put on one of their most dominant performances of the season when the team took an impressive three-set win over the Bowie State Bulldogs (0-14, 0-8 CIAA), Saturday evening at the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Volleyball Round Up. The Rams claimed their ninth straight win in style, defeating the Bulldogs, 25-11, 25-8, and 25-20.
September 30, 2017 Rams Take a Four-Set Win Over Virginia State for Eighth Straight Victory PETERSBURG, VA – The Winston-Salem State Rams (9-3, 6-0) remained perfect in conference play when the Rams took a four-set victory over the Virginia State Trojans on the opening day of the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Volleyball Round Up. With the win, the Rams claim their eighth straight victory and remained unbeaten in CIAA play with their 25-17, 23-25, 25-19, and 25-17, Saturday afternoon.
September 26, 2017 Brown Named CIAA Player of the Week CHARLOTTE, NC – After winning seven matches in a row, the honors are coming in for the Winston-Salem State Rams volleyball team as junior middle blocker Christa Brown was named the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Volleyball Player of the Week. She took home the honor after a great week of defensive play for the Rams.
September 25, 2017 Rams Take Three-Set Win at Saint Augustine's for Seventh Straight Victory RALEIGH, NC – The Winston-Salem State Rams (8-3, 4-0 CIAA) stayed on a hot streak when the team took an impressive three-set road win over the Saint Augustine’s Falcons (1-3, 1-3 CIAA), Monday evening. The Rams needed a great defensive performance to claim the win over a feisty Falcons team that refused to give in. In the end, a strong service effort with some great front line play powered the Rams to the win, 25-18, 25-8, and 25-17.
September 21, 2017 Rams Open CIAA Southern Division Play with a Four-Set Win Over Fayetteville State WINSTON-SALEM, NC – The Winston-Salem State Rams (7-3, 4-0 CIAA) opened Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) play in a big way when the team took an impressive four-set win over the Fayetteville State Broncos (6-5, 3-1 CIAA), Thursday evening. The Rams looked good throughout the entire match to claim the 25-15, 20-25, 25-23, and 25-17 win.

Cheerleading Camp

WSSU Head Cheerleading Coach, Eboni Graham, welcomes all aspiring cheerleaders 4-17 years of age to the campus of Winston-Salem State University for the WSSU Cheer Explosion Camp June 20-24 at the Donald J. Reaves Center. The five-day camp will take place from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m., featuring members of the Powerhouse of Red and White and 2nd year WSSU alum, Coach Graham.

WSSU 7-ON-7 Football Camp

WSSU Head Football Coach, Kienus Boulware, welcomes all High School Football teams to Winston-Salem State University for the WSSU 7-on-7 Football Camp on June 21st. All camps are non-contact. Registration will begin at 9:00 AM in the Field House. Teams will be guaranteed 4 games, lunch, a camp t-shirt. Space is limited due to fields, please register and reserve your teams space now. Once registered, please email team rosters to Coach Natrone Means (Meansnj@wssu.edu).

WSSU Prospect Football Camp

WSSU Head Football Coach, Kienus Boulware, welcomes all prospects in grades 9-12 (as of Fall 2017) to Winston-Salem State University for the WSSU Prospect Camp on July 12th . High School graduates may not participate. All camps are non-contact. Campers will benefit from both individual and team instruction. Fundamental skills will be taught and there will also be some individual and team competition.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL CAMP

The WSSU Women's Basketball Program will hold a Team Camp, June 17th, and the cost is $200. The team camp is open to players on JV, Varisity and AAU teams.They will also hold an Elite Camp on June 18, for just $65. The Elite Camp is open to 8th through 12th graders.

Men's Basketball Camp

The WSSU Men's Basketball Program will hold an Individual Camp, June 19th through June 21st. Second grade through fifth grade will attend from 9am to 12pm (Morning session). Sixth grade through eighth grade will attend from 1pm to 4pm (Afternoon session).

The cost of the camp is Early Bird Price $85.00.  Before June 1st, 2017 and after June 1st, 2017 Price will be $100.00.

Men's Basketball ELITE Camp

The WSSU Men's Basketball Program will hold an ELITE Camp on August 1st on the campus of WSSU. A free t-shirt and lunch will be provided, along with a tour of campus, individual skill instruction for post palyers and guards, as well as other  on court demonstration. The cost of the ELITE camp is $50.00, and the date is scheduled for August 1st 2017.
