2009: Georgette capped her WSSU career with one of her best seasons...She was one of five players to see time in all 36 matches and 124 sets...For the season, Allen finished with career-highs in kills (120) and total blocks (81)...Her best match of the season came against Alabama State when she powered the Lady Rams with 10 kills...Her best defensive effort came against Wofford when she recorded eight blocks against the Terriers.
2008: Played in 93 sets and finished the season with 82 kills and a .092 attack percentage...She finished second on the team with 51 total blocks (13 solo)...She also added 21 digs last season...Her best effort came against Savannah State when she recorded 12 kills...She added a career-high seven blocks against Charleston Southern...she also recorded five blocks each against Bethune-Cookman and at The Citadel.
2007: Georgette had a solid first season with the Lady Rams ... She played in 94 of the team's 102 games and in all 30 matches ... She was one of the team's best players both offensively and defensively ... She led the Lady Rams with 70 total blocks (55 solo) ... She added 108 kills and seven service aces ... She had her best game against Savannah State when she totaled 14 kills with just three errors ... She had a career-high 10 digs against Savannah State earlier that weekend.
Personal: Georgette Allen joined the Lady Rams volleyball team in the fall of 2007 after spending a season at St. Augustine's in Raleigh, NC...A native of Durham, NC, she is a graduate of J.F. Webb High School where she was a three-sport athlete earning letters in volleyball, basketball, and track & field...During her career, she earned Player of the Year honors...She also went to the state championships in track & field where she competed in the shot put and discus...The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rankins...A Physical Education major...Born in Durham, NC.
