2009: In her junior season, Ashley Harris continued to be one of the top performers on the Lady Rams' squad...She finished the season with career highs in kills (268), service aces (21), and digs (214)...She also added 24 total blocks...She recorded a season-high 17 kills at Coppin State, four shy of her career-high...She added a career-high 15 digs against North Carolina A&T at home as well.
2008: Ashley had another great season as a Lady Ram when she finished second on the team in total kills (148) for the second straight season...She was also second on the team in total digs with 164...She also added 29 total blocks and 19 service aces....Her best game of the season came against Bethune-Cookman when she led the Lady Rams with 11 kills...the also added 11 kills against St. Augustine's...She had a season-high 12 digs at St. Augustine's as well...She was rewarded with the team's Hustle Award.
2007: Had an immediate impact on the Lady Rams as the team's Rookie of the Year last fall...She played in 100 of the team's 102 games last season ... She finished second on the team with 210 kills and a .119 hitting percentage...She also added 13 assists ... She added 12 service aces as well ... She finished the season ranked second on the team with 169 digs as well ... She finished the season with 37 total blocks (four solo) ... She had her best game when she recorded a career-high 21 kills against Savannah State ... She had only three errors in that game ... One of her best defensive games came at St. Augustine's when she had a career-high 16 digs in the win ... She had a career-high three service aces at North Carolina Central.
Personal: Ashley joined the Winston-Salem State Lady Rams volleyball team in the fall of 2007...A native of Mitchellville, MD, she is a Charles H. Flowers High School in Springdale, MD...She led the Lady Jaguars to a 16-4 record under head coach Jeff Ware as a senior in 2006... She was named team MVP and earned All-County and All-Metro honors in the metropolitan area as a senior...She also played three seasons with the Lady Jaguar basketball team...She is the daughter of Mark and Wendy Harris...A Communications major at WSSU...Born on December 25, 1989.
