Kyra Pridgen will return to the Lady Rams coaching staff this fall. Already a top notch player for WSSU, Pridgen will continue to lead the next generation of Lady Ram netters that will take the court this season. Under her guidance, the Lady Rams produced some of the top players in school history.
As a player, Pridgen was one of the greatest Lady Rams to wear the WSSU uniform ranking in the top five in numerous statistical categories. For her career, Pridgen is the WSSU all-time leader in service aces with 176 and is second all-time in total kills with 822. She is also second on the Lady Rams all-time list in total attacks with 2,094 and well as ranking second in all-time digs with 571 digs her career. She is also the all-time WSSU leader in games (418) and matches played (127). During her career, Pridgen earned numerous honors, including first team All-CIAA honors as a junior and earning a spot on the Pre-Season All-CIAA First team in 2005.
Pridgen is a 2006 graduate of Winston-Salem State with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management.
