Columbia, SC - The struggle continues for the Lady Rams volleyball team of Winston-Salem State University. The Lady Rams, on the road in Columbia, SC fell to Benedict College on Tuesday evening in HBCU volleyball action.
The Lady Rams dropped a four-game decision by losing the first two games (30-18 and 3-21 respectively), winning the third (30-27) and closing out the match with a loss in the fourth and deciding game (30-27).
The Lady Rams were led by Chasity Clark (Jr./OH/5'10"/Winston-Salem, NC) and Ebony Douglas (Jr./OH/5'9"/Raleigh, NC) who tallied 13 and 10 kills respectively.
The loss drops WSSU to 1-9 overall (1-2 CIAA). The Lady Rams return to action on Wednesday, October 1st, 2003 at 6:00 pm when they host the St. Augustine's College Lady Falcons.
