Winston-Salem, NC - The long 2003 CIAA Volleyball season is getting even longer for the WSSU Lady Rams, in fact, right now it seems like the end may never be in sight. However, despite dropping their fourth straight match, and tenth of their last eleven, the Lady Rams sense that a turnaround is in sight.
The Lady Rams fell to St. Augustine's College on Wednesday evening in front of a very full Whitaker Gymnasium to drop their fourth straight game. The Lady Rams, now 1-10 overall and 1-3 in the CIAA, were led by Ebony Douglas (Jr./5'9"/Raleigh, NC) with six kills. Despite Douglas' performance, the Lady Rams dropped the match in three games by the scores of 30-20; 30-23; 30-21.
The Lady Rams will return to action on Friday, October 3rd, 2003 as they host the team that beat them in four games on Tuesday, September 3oth, 2003, Benedict College. The first serve in the contest is scheduled for 6:00 pm.
