Final Stats

HAMPTON, VA - The Winston-Salem State University women's volleyball team fell to 0-8 on the year on Saturday morning as they were downed by The Citadel in a match that lasted only three games (30-26, 30-20, 30-19) in third-round action from the Lady Pirate Labor Day Volleyball Invitational from the campus of Hampton University.

The Lady Rams remained winless on the season as they continue their transition from the NCAA Division II level to the highest level of intercollegiate athletic competition in NCAA Division I.

The defeat drops WSSU to 0-8 on the season with WSSU returning to action at 3:00 pm as they face the Lady Eagles of North Carolina Central University to close out weekend volleyball play.
