SPARTANBURG, SC - The Wofford College women's volleyball team defeated the Lady Rams of Winston-Salem State University on Thursday evening in non-conference volleyball action from Benjamin Johnson Gymnasium as the Terriers earned a 3-0 (30-13, 30-23, 30-23) win to move to 3-1 on the season.
The Lady Rams dropped three consecutive games to the powerful Terriers as Seidah El-Amin's team-high six kills were not enough to prevent a WSSU loss.
Wofford was led by Liz Sheets who recorded a match-high 10 kills in the contest. She was joined by Sarah Palmer who tallied nine kills in the win.
The loss drops the Lady Rams to 1-10 on the year while Wofford improves to 3-1 with the win.
