WINSTON-SALEM, NC - The Lady Rams volleyball team fell in defeat by the score of 3-0 (30-19, 30-26, 30-16) to The Citadel on Tuesday evening at the C.E. Gaines Center in Winston-Salem, NC to drop to 1-11 overall on the season.
The Citadel recorded an astounding 46 kills in 89 total attack attempts on the evening as they committed only seven errors for an attack percentage of 43.8%. In contrast, the Lady Rams turned in an attack percentage of 13.1% as they recorded 37 kills and 24 errors in 99 total attack attempts.
WSSU was led by Annika Barnwell and Brandi Beane who each tallied a team-high seven kills in a losing effort. The Citadel was led by Samantha Parisi who recorded a match-high 18 kills as she was one of three Citadel players to break the 10-kill plateau.

With the win, The Citadel improves to 5-3 on the season as the Lady Rams fall to 1-11 with the loss.
