Fayetteville, NC - The Lady Rams of Winston-Salem State University earned their second win of the season on Saturday as they recorded their second consecutive victory, defeating the Lady Trojans of Virginia State University in volleyball action from the CIAA Volleyball Round Up in Fayetteville, NC on Saturday afternoon.


 

 

 

The Lady Rams played their most complete match of the young season en route to the four-game victory.  WSSU dropped the first game of the match 29-31 before winning three straight by the scores of 30-23, 33-31, and 30-25. 

 

Kyra Pridgen led the Lady Rams with 14 kills in the victory.  With the win, the Lady Rams improve to 2-14 on the season (2-5 CIAA).

 

WSSU returns to action at 12:00 pm on Sunday when they face the Lady Bears of Shaw University.
