Final Stats

Fayetteville, NC - The Lady Rams of Winston-Salem State University fell in defeat for the 15^th time this season on Sunday as they recorded a 3-1 loss to the Lady Bears of Shaw University in volleyball action from the CIAA Volleyball Round Up in Fayetteville, NC on Sunday morning.

The Lady Rams, who were coming off of two consecutive wins on Saturday, did not play well in the early going as they fell in defeat in a match that took only four games. 

WSSU fell 25-30 in the first game, rebounded with a 30-26 win in the second game, and then fell in the match's final two games by the scores of 27-30 and 21-30 respectively.

Ciera Simpson led the Lady Rams with 14 kills in the loss.  With the loss, the Lady Rams fall to 2-15 on the season (2-6 CIAA).

WSSU returns to action at 3:00 pm on Sunday when they face the Lady Tigers of Saint Paul's College in the Lady Rams' final match of the 2005 CIAA Volleyball Round Up.
