The Lady Rams dropped the first game of the match 30-13 before responding with a narrow five-point loss in the second game of the contest (30-25) as they looked to mount a charge against the talented, and experience-laden Panthers.
WSSU, a young, talented, team comprised primarily of freshmen and sophomores, battled valiantly but could not match the experience of the Panthers who recorded the match victory following a 30-16 win in the third, and final, game of the match.

Valentina Pushkina and Kendall Sutton led the Lady Rams with six kills each in the contest with Pushkina tallying a team-high 12 assists in the loss. Ashley Mellot led the Panthers with a match-high nine kills.
