Winston-Salem, NC - The Lady Eagles of North Carolina Central University remained undefeated in conference play on Monday evening at Whitaker Gymnasium on the campus of Winston-Salem State University as they improved to 11-0 in the CIAA by downing the Lady Rams of WSSU by the score of 3-0 (30-19, 30-20, 30-21) in women's volleyball action.
The Lady Eagles came out of the locker room hot and never cooled off as they reeled off three consecutive game wins to earn a victory in the match en route to improving to 17-7 on the season.
The Lady Eagles were led by Brenda Brown who tallied 17 kills in the match as she now sits only 46 kills away from 1,000 in her NCCU volleyball career.
WSSU was led by Kendall Sutton who recorded 10 kills in the losing effort as she was the only Lady Ram to break into the double-digits in kills.

WSSU falls to 7-18 overall with the loss and falls to 4-9 in the CIAA in the process.
The Lady Rams return to action on Wednesday, October 5th, 2005 at 6:00 pm in Winston-Salem, NC as they play host to Benedict College.
