CHARLESTON, SC - The Winston-Salem State University Lady Rams' volleyball team fell in defeat to The Citadel by the score of 3-0 (30-15, 30-19, 30-15) in non-conference volleyball action in Charleston, SC on Tuesday evening at McAlister Field House in a match that took one hour and 13 minutes to complete.
Rachel Sanders led the way for the Bulldogs with 17 kills in the match as she led the Citadel with a 40% attack percentage.
Leading the way for the Lady Rams was Ciera Simpson who tallied six kills in the contest. She was joined by Annika Barnwell who tallied four kills, and Jasmine Watkins who recorded three kills in the loss.
The loss drops the Lady Rams to 2-21 on the season while The Citadel improves to 7-14 overall (1-6 SoCon).
