Raleigh, NC - It took four games, but it was the Lady Rams of Winston Salem State in the final two as they defeated the Shaw University Lady Bears 3-1 (27-30, 30-28, 23-30, 16-30). The Lady Rams improved their record to 8-20 (6-10 CIAA), while the Lady Bears dropped to 3-11 (3-10 CIAA).
Pacing the Lady Rams was Valentina Pushkina with 10 kills and nine digs, along with Brandi Beane's 11 kills.
The Lady Bears were led by Jessica Perry who finished with a game high 12 kills, and a game high 15 digs.
