Columbia, SC - The Winston-Salem State University Lady Rams volleyball team fell in defeat to the Lady Tigers of Benedict College on the road in Columbia, SC on Monday evening by the score of 3-0 to drop to 8-21 on the season.
The Lady Rams dropped the first game of the match 27-30 as the home-team Lady Tigers used a furious rally to pull out the victory in the first stanza of play.
After falling behind early in the second game, the Lady Rams' play deteriorated and WSSU dropped successive games by the scores of 20-30 and 25-30 as they suffered the loss.
With the loss, the Lady Rams fall to 8-21 overall on the season and fall to 2-7 in 2005 while on the road.

WSSU will close out the 2005 regular season on October 26, 2005 at 6:00 pm when they travel to Raleigh, NC to face Saint Augustine's College.
