Final Stats

DOVER, DE - The Winston-Salem State University Lady Rams volleyball team fell in defeat to the host-team Hornets of Delaware State University on Saturday evening from Memorial Hall in Dover, Delaware by the score of 3-0 (30-17, 30-14, 30-11) to drop to 2-23 on the season.

The Lady Rams dropped the first game of the match 30-17 before falling in defeat 30-14 and 30-11 in the next two consecutive games as the Hornets cruised to the three-game match victory.

WSSU was led by Annika Barnwell who tallied a match-high six kills in the loss.  Kinga Muszynski led the Hornets with a match-high 13 kills in the win.

The loss drops the Lady Rams to 2-23 overall on the season while Delaware State University improves to 8-19 with the win.

Winston-Salem State returns to action on Tuesday, October 24 at 6:00 pm as they face the Aggies of North Carolina A&T State University.
