Final Stats

HIGH POINT, NC - The Winston-Salem State Lady Rams (4-23) struggled to get the rust off as the team took a 3-0 loss to the High Point Panthers (24-7), Tuesday evening. The Lady Rams found points hard to come by in the match as the team totaled just 15 kills in the match.

Making matters worse for the Lady Rams were the team's 19 receiving errors, four more than the team's total kills in the match. Freshman hitter Ashley Harris led the way for the Lady Rams, accounting for over half of the team's total offense with 15 kills. Junior setter Valentina Pushkina added four kills in the match with 14 assists in the loss. The match was also a debut for freshman Lakeisha Hawes, who added five digs in her debut as a Lady Ram.

The team will wrap up home court, Thursday evening when they host the Campbell Camels in a 7:00 p.m. match.
