Kiplagat Named to USTFCCCA All-Region TeamNEW ORLEANS, LA – Winston-Salem State University freshman Domtilla Kiplagat capped a stellar freshman season in style when she was named to the United States Track & Field Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Region team. October 29, 2015Kiplagat, Rams Run Away with 2015 CIAA Women's Cross Country ChampionshipCARY, NC – The Winston-Salem State University Rams women’s cross country team put on a dominating effort to win its third Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Women’s Cross Country Championship in the last six years. The team took the effort behind a dominating performance with five WSSU runners placing in the top 10 at the event and all six WSSU runners placing in the event’s top 20.

Running against some of the top teams on the East Coast, including several NCAA Division I teams, the WSSU teams had some impressive showings at the event.

September 26, 2015Rams Have Another Great Day at 32nd Annual Greensboro Cross Country InvitationalGREENSBORO, NC – The Winston-Salem State University Rams men’s and women’s cross country teams continued their strong seasons with some impressive performances at the 32nd Annual Greensboro Cross Country Invitational at Hagan Stone Park. For the second week in a row WSSU freshman Domtilla Kiplagat broke the 20-minute mark when she ran a 19:24.9 to place fourth in the women’s 5K run.
