September 16, 2016 Rams Place 14th at adidas XC Challenge CARY, NC – The Winston-Salem State Rams women’s cross country team hit the trails once again when the team competed in the adidas XC Challenge, Friday evening. Competing as one of just two NCAA Division II teams in a meet that featured teams from the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC), the Southern Conference (SoCon), the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC), the Big South, and several other NCAA Division conferences, the Rams had some solid performances at the meet.
September 15, 2016 Brown, Kiplagat, Turner Earn CIAA Weekly Honors CHARLOTTE, NC – The Winston-Salem State Rams men’s and women’s cross country teams were rewarded for a great week last week, earning three honors from the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA). WSSU sophomore Domtilla Kiplagat was named the CIAA Women’s Runner of the Week while freshman Mitchell Brown was named the CIAA Men’s Runner of the Week and WSSU head coach Inez Turner was named the CIAA Women’s Coach of the Week.
September 9, 2016 Rams Women's Cross Country Places Second at Bulldog Cross Country Invitational WILSON, NC – The Winston-Salem State University cross country teams hit the trails today to take part in the Bulldog Cross Country Invitational hosted by Barton College. The Rams women’s cross country team set the tone for the day when the team totaled 75 points to place second in the meet while the Rams totaled 200 points to place seventh.

September 3, 2016 Rams Cross Country Opens 2016 with Solid Efforts at Catawba Chick-fil-A XC Invitational SALISBURY, NC – The Winston-Salem State Rams cross country teams got their seasons underway, Saturday morning when they took part in the Catawba Chick-fil-A XC Invitational. The Rams men’s and women’s cross country teams both saw some impressive performances as the Rams women placed fifth at the meet while the men placed eighth.
July 19, 2016 Winston-Salem State Announces Inaugural Winston-Salem Football Classic The Winston-Salem State University football team has an exciting season coming to the city of Winston-Salem with five home games and the inauguration of the Winston-Salem Football Classic. The three-day community-centered event is one of the strongest community partnerships in WSSU athletic history with the Rams joining strengths with the City of Winston-Salem and Winston-Salem Forsyth County School System.
