Earned a track and field state championship in the 500m in 2005-06. Named a scholar-athlete all four years in High School...The daughter of Merley and Jody Brown. An Exercise Science major at WSSU...She was also named the WSSU Rookie of the Year for track & field last season...Born in Rochester, NY on March 9, 1988. Nicknamed "Vonna".
