2009: The 2009 season saw some of the best performances in Taylor's career...She posted a 5K personal best at the 2009 American Cross Country Festival's Race of Champions where she completed the 5K race in 22:01...She broke her previous personal best of 22:08 which she recorded just a week earlier at the 2009 Wolfpack Invitational...She was also strong at the 2009 Walt Disney World Cross Country Classic where she beat her previous time from a year ago by 12 seconds.

2008: Taylor had a solid sophomore season with WSSU cross country in 2008...She opened the season with her best place of the season, finishing 20th at the UNC-Pembroke Invitational...She finished the 4,828m course in 22:28.67...Her best 5K time of the season came at the Walt Disney World Cross Country Invitational where she finished 226th with a 22:40.30 in the event. She also had a solid time at the Asics/Winthrop Invitational where she finished 135th in 22:50.

2007: Taylor had a solid freshman season with the Lady Rams Cross Country team in 2007 with some solid finishes and quality times...Her best finish of the season came in the season opener when she finished 33rd in the UNC-Pembroke Invitational with a time of 20:50.85 in the 4K event...She finished with a 5K career-best 23:05.8 at Hagan Stone Park in the 2007 Greensboro Invitational.

Personal: Taylor Calamese will return to the Lady Rams Cross Country team this fall following a successful freshman season in 2007...A native of Charlotte, N.C....She is a 2007 graduate of Z.B. Vance High School...She earned three letters in cross country where she helped lead the team to a regional/conference championship...A Biology major...She is the daughter of Charles and Debbie Calamese.
