2008: Persha returned for a solid sophomore campaign after a great freshman season...She competed in four of the team's five events last season...She opened the season with a solid effort at the UNC-Pembroke Invitational where she finished 61st in the 4,828m event in 24:11...Her best 5K time of the season came at the Walt Disney World Cross Country Classic where she placed 247th with a 23:17.20.

2007: Persha had a great freshman season with the Lady Rams Cross Country team in 2007...She had her best 5K time of the season at the UNC-Pembroke Invitational when she finished the course in 19:15.35...Her 24th place finish was also the best finish of the season...She also added a solid finish in the team's biggest competition of the season, placing 258th in the 2007 Walt Disney World Cross Country Invitational.

Personal: Persha Lane returns to the Lady Rams Cross Country team for the second season this fall...A native of Philadelphia, PA, she is a graduate of Simon Gratz High School...She had a stellar high school career as a Lady Bulldog competition in numerous track & field events...She helped lead the team to a Public League Championship as well as a state championship in the 4x100m relays as a senior...She is a Psychology major.
