Salisbury, NC - The Winston-Salem State University women's cross-country team captured two of the top three finishers on Saturday afternoon in Salisbury, NC and earned a CIAA league victory in the process as two-sport star athletes Janessa Webb (So./Anchorage, AK) and Janet Robinson (Jr./Durham, NC) finished first and third respectively and paced the Lady Rams to a victory.
Webb, a sophomore from Anchorage, AK who was also a First-Team All-CIAA selection in volleyball last season, turned in the best time of the afternoon as she completed the three-mile course in 22:13, a full 19 seconds faster than her next closest competitor, Tiana Pope.

The remainder of the Lady Rams finished fifth, sixth and tenth to round out the afternoon's victory.
