Rams, Lady Rams Cross County Poised for Great 2010 Season

WINSTON-SALEM, NC - The expectations will be high for the Winston-Salem State University cross country teams as both squads are poised for a stellar effort in 2010. Both the Rams and Lady Rams return with all of the team's top runners from last season's breakout effort. Under the guidance of interim head coach Inez Turner, along with a talented cast of newcomers, the Rams and Lady Rams have all the pieces in place for an historic cross country season. Story.

WINSTON-SALEM, NC - The 2009 recruiting class was hailed as one of the top incoming classes in school history and the Lady Ram delivered on the great potential that they showed in high school and in the preseason. With the infusion of top young talent, the Lady Rams cross country team went on to have a great 2009 effort with a number of great finishes. Story.

Lady Rams Finish 20th at 14th Annual Walt Disney World Cross Country Classic

LAKE BUENA VISTA, FL - Winston-Salem State freshman Andrew Chebii capped a spectacular season with his third win of the season, finishing in first place at the 14th Annual Walt Disney World Cross Country Classic, Saturday morning. With a 25:22.40 in the men's 8K run, Chebii left runners from Kennesaw State, Florida Atlantic, and Miami all in his wake as he won the event by a full thirty seconds. Story.
