MURFREESBORO, N.C. - WyKevin Bazemore scored a season-high 27 points and Winston-Salem State shot a season high 90% from the free throw line as the Rams rolled past Chowan University, 64-55 Saturday afternoon at the Helms Center in Murfreesboro, N.C. on the Chowan University campus.

The Chowan Hawks looked early like they were in upset mode as they jumped out on the Rams and held an early lead for much of the first part of the half and went up seven at 16-9, but Winston-Salem State battled back on a 11-4 run and took their first lead at 20-19 midway through the first half on two WyKevin Bazemore free throws.
