Winston-Salem State University Athletics will present the second Annual Winston-Salem Football Classic

Winston-Salem State University Athletics will present the second Annual Winston-Salem Football Classic on Friday and Saturday. In partnership with the City of Winston-Salem and the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools, WSSU Athletics presents TRAMSformation, welcoming over 600 middle school students from 16 schools on Friday for educational sessions with professors, student-athletes and campus tours. The students and a parent or guardian also receive tickets to Saturday's football game and will be our special guests.

On Saturday, there will be a reception at 11:00 am in McNeil Banquet Hall located in the Anderson Center on the campus of Winston-Salem State University in which the late Walter Marshall will be honored. This event is free and is open to the public.

The Rams will take on the Lions of Lincoln University at 6:00 pm at Bowman Gray Stadium. The game will include a special pre-game and halftime performance from the Red Sea of Sound featuring national recording artist Earnest Pugh and a 125th Anniversary Community Chorale. Following the game, fireworks will light up the sky in honor of WSSU's 125th birthday celebration.
