Lady Rams Go 3-2 on Opening Day of Aggie Master's Classic

GREENSBORO, NC – The Winston-Salem State Lady Rams (34-28) opened the Aggie Master's Classic in style when the team posted a 3-2 record in Baker games play. The Lady Rams posted some impressive victories on their way to the win with wins over NCAA Division I foes Morgan State and Hampton as well as a win over fellow Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) foe Shaw.

The Lady Rams opened the day in impressive fashion with a 638-602 win over Morgan State. After taking back-to-back losses to Fayetteville State (542-650) and the University of Alabama-Birmingham (546-613), the team returned to form with day on a roll with a 659-507.  After taking a 575-575 tie against the Hampton Lady Pirates, the Lady Rams took the win in a five-frame roll-off which the team won, 87-69.
