BRADENTON, FL – The Winston-Salem State Rams track & field team capped the 2017 season in remarkable fashion with a pair of top five finishes at the 2017 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field National Championship Meet. The Rams' 4x100m relay team placed fifth in their event while senior sprinter Ty-Leah Hampton placed third in the women's 100m dash, Saturday afternoon.

The work was not done as Hampton placed third in the women's 100m dash when she ran an 11.66 to place third in the women's 100m dash. The performance was her career best in the women's 100m dash at the national championship meet.
