Lady Rams Roll to Three-Set Victory Over Livingstone

WINSTON-SALEM, NC – The Winston-Salem State Lady Rams (13-10, 12-2 CIAA) turned on their offense when the team took a dominating three-set win over the Livingstone Blue Bears (15-13, 3-10 CIAA), Thursday evening. The Lady Rams rolled to the win, controlling every set of the match and winning, 25-16, 25-11, and 25-10.


The Lady Rams took the win behind a fantastic offensive effort that saw the team total 35 kills with just eight attack errors in the match. WSSU senior outside hitter Katelin Wensley led the way with a team-high 12 kills and just two attack errors in the match. The tandem of senior outside hitter Avoni Seymour and sophomore right side Olivia Owens also recorded seven kills each as well. Senior libero Katelyn Sigala added 15 digs.
